SUBMITTING YOUR STORY GUIDELINES

All stories and topics must be family, child, parent focused.

• Please ensure insertions are clean in content, non promotional, and checked for grammar/spelling errors.

• Keep articles to 400-600 words in length.

• Source references are encouraged, however, we will include a maximum of 2 source links on our website

• We invite professionals, as well as parents, to submit articles. Articles must be written in layman’s terms and remain non-biased so as not to offend others with opposing views. Professional articles will include a byline and contact information. Be sure to provide your name, phone number, email and website. We will contact you if we have questions.

• PHOTO INSERTS: If you wish, include first names, ages, and town information of people in photo. “Photo Titles” will be included when provided. i.e. BOBBY’S FIRST BIRTHDAY! Submitting an article or photograph does not guarantee placement on our website. We reserve the right to review all insertions for appropriate content and audience interest. In some cases, insertions may require editing…..if this is necessary, we will contact you so you can re-submit.
